SCVFoodie is a blog dedicated to finding the gastronomical gems amid the fast-food chains in the Santa Clarita Valley. Where’s that, you say? It’s located about 30 miles north of Downtown Los Angeles. Just drive up the 5 Freeway until you hit Magic Mountain.
We’ll give you an honest take on the dishes and deals we find in Stevenson Ranch, Valencia, Canyon Country, Saugus, Castaic, Newhall and environs. Everything—from greasy spoons to white tablecloth restaurants to happy hours—is fair game We’ll also venture out beyond the Santa Clarita Valley into LA proper and let you know if a restaurant is worth the drive—or not.
Rest assured that SCVFoodie is clean editorial. We won’t play for pay, so you can trust that we’re not writing up advertorials like some of the other magazines in the area.
